Closing Information
In the event of inclement
weather, school closing information can be obtained in any of
the following four ways:
1. Click on the
following Internet Web Link:
http://www.emergencyclosings.com
If school is to be closed, the
school's administration will update school closing information
on the web at the emergencyclosings.com website. Community High
School is listed as: DIST #94
2. Listen to one
of the following radio stations or watch the following television
stations:
Radio Stations: WGN-720
AM WBBM-780
AM
Television
Stations: CBS
- Channel 2, NBC
- Channel 5, ABC
- Channel 7,
WGN
Morning News - Channel 9, Fox
- Channel 32, CLTV
News
If school is to be closed,
these radio and television stations will be notified with school
closing information.
3. You may register at the emergency
closings website to be notified via E-mail if District 94 is to
be closed. To register and receive free E-mail notification of
school closings, go to: http://www.emergencyclosings.com
Click on the Email Notification
link, Enter DIST #94 as the Facility and West Chicago as the City,
and then follow the prompts to enter your email address. You may
enter a second alternate email address as well when registering
and receive notification at both email addresses.
4. Check the school website: http://www.d94.org
In the event of a school closing, information will be posted on the Community High School District 94 website.
5. A phone call blast will be sent out by the high school Principal to all staff members and all parents that have provided the school with a telephone number that you would like to have included in the One Call Now emergency phone database system.
